01. I'm alive.
02. I can see.
03. I can see colours, my family, my wife's works of art, pictures of earth.
04. I can hear.
05. I can enjoy music by Steve Roach, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Bach.
06. I can smell.
07. I can smell moss, moist soil, sea water, tangerines, coriander.
08. I can taste.
09. I can taste maracuja, manga, apple, sushi, chocolate.
10. I can feel.
11. I can feel my wife's skin, my stepson's hair, our cat's fur, soil, wood, hemp clothing, a warm breeze in spring.
12. I can walk.
13. I can walk through woods, across fields, along coasts in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, England, Scotland, Scandinavia.
14. I can read.
15. I can read friendly e-mail messages by friends and colleagues, intelligent comments by readers of BBC news, Amazon, and Gaia, science fiction stories, spiritual gems of Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Sufism, and by Native Americans, Ken Wilber, Eckart Tolle.
16. I can watch and enjoy BBC documentaries, the Cosby Show, Mr. Bean, Loriot, 2001, Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings, Dances With Wolves
17. I'm healthy.

20. I'm married to a loving, resourceful, strong, energetic, humourous woman.
21. I have three healthy, handsome, loveable, active stepsons.
22. I'm about to become a father.
23. I live in a quiet little town not far from the City.
24. I live in my own little house.

26. I have running water.
27. I can drink water from the tap.
28. I have a warm, comfortable, double bed to sleep in.
29. I have my own office.
30. I have had a beautiful, reliable little iBook G4 to work with for three and a half years.
31. I have had a reliable Deskjet 930C printer which hasn't let me down in over five years.
32. I have had a reliable iPod accompanying me for several years.
33. I have managed to live without a cell phone so far.
34. I have never had to experience war, drought, famine, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions.
35. I have excellent, frequent bus and train connections to the City and other parts of Luxembourg just 5 minutes from home.
36. I have a challenging, varied, well-paid, secure job (teacher in an experimental primary school).
37. I work with a team of very loving, helpful, resourceful, idealistic colleagues.
38. I enjoy very tasty, healthy, varied, biological foods in our school restaurant.
39. I have enough to eat and drink each day.
40. I have appropriate clothes to wear each day.
41. I have quiet, respectful, friendly neighbours.
42. I understand and speak three important languages (German, French, English).
43. I have a grocery store just a few steps from my home.
44. I have a good, strong rucksack to comfortably carry my stuff around.
45. I have a beautiful, reliable thermos which allows me to have a cup of hot tea when i'm on the move.
46. I have a nice, clean, beautifully situated bicycle path to jog and cycle on close to my home.
47. I have a well-tended, beautiful forest to walk in close to my home.
48. I have a well-organized system of waste management and recycling for paper, compost, scrap iron, and toxic waste in my home town.
49. I have access to a reliable, easy-to-use, top quality iTunes Store where i can download music without wasting material resources like CDs and their jewel cases.
50. I have a reliable, practical e-mail account through which i can communicate easily and quickly with my family, friends, colleagues, and pupils' parents.
